Young author and illustrator made this book for younger kids.
Siwon Kim, the author of this book is 11 years old. He wrote this story when he was 9 years old. Siwon’s younger brother, Siwoo Kim gave adorable illustrations for this book. It’s the first book project they worked together. 

This story is about one fish trying to fly in the sky. It is also about a challenger who keeps trying to achieve something. You will enjoy its joyful drawings and humorous story.

How the MoonStealers Publishing work?

Our books are published under the publishing company “MoonStealers Publishing”, a family owned publisher for kids.

We have a certain publishing process, with each person in the family having their own job. Siwon, as the author writes the story, Siwoo, as the illustrator illustrates for the book, and the two brother’s younger sister Yeoni creates beautiful color on her sketchbook, which are used as textures for the illustration made by Siwoo. Lastly, their mother Yun Lee collects all of the works from the kids then organizes them into a form of a book. She is a moderator and editor of this book.

The writer Siwon and illustrator Siwoo are brothers. The brothers love to make books. Siwon writes, and Siwoo draws. They have made tons of books since they were small kids. “The Flying Fish” is the first real publishing project that they worked together, and "Moon Thief" is the second book.

Yeoni, the youngest one of the family, just plays with paint to creates color texture on her sketchbook.

Lastly, their mother Yun Lee collects all of the works from the kids then organizes them into a form of a book.

They are currently living in Singapore for their father’s job. Since they has spent their life in three different country-Korea, USA, Singapore, they could create very unique, multi-cultural story and illustrations. Young author and illustrator will help you to see the world with amazing imaginary and unique dimension from the children’s point of view.
